The sounds from the jungle during the night were very soothing, and being away from all the city was a plus. But meeting Pepe was the highlight of our stay. « The only minimal issue is that it is a good 10 min drive to the hotel from the town. You can walk but it will take a good 20-30 mins depending on how slow you walk. The rest of the stay was amazing! You are greeted with a refreshing drink, and are given an intensive walk through of the property. The rooms have amazing views all throughout. « We stayed for two nights. The accommodation is excellent, but we were not aware that it is a rental rather than a hotel. Therefore there was nobody available to check us in and had we not spoke Spanish, would have been in a difficult situation. We had to locate our room ourselves, which was unexpected and took us a while to locate as it is a large building. The property is on the outskirts of Tulum and taxis are needed to travel around.
